I have known Steve Halperin and his late father David Halperin since I became an lawyer over 30 years ago . The one word that comes to mind when mentioning Steve to any of the clients we share or I refer to his office is dedicated and hard working. Steve gets great settlements and verdicts for his clients because of his devotion to his clients, knowledge of the law and experience in Court. I know Steve and I often call him on a Sunday or holiday and he is working on a case, or preparing for trial. Steve is pleasant to deal with and makes the experience as easy as possible . Now trials in a personal injury or medical malpractice case are challenging and stressful to say the least . I was in an accident as a pedestrian with a cyclist and was knocked unconscious and had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance. Not only was the accident itself scary and painful but I was uninsured at the time and wasn't sure how I would be able to pay for months on months of physical therapy for my injuries as well as neurological appointments. Luckily a friend introduced us to Jeff at Halperin & Halperin and I am so grateful. He was able to provide my husband and me with not only excellent legal support, but also moral support. My case dragged on for a couple of years but Jeff was always very communicative and helped me feel very taken care of. I highly recommend this firm!

Jeffrey Weiskopf was recommended by a good friend whose husband suffered the misfortune of being struck by a car. I too had been struck by a car -had already retained an attorney- but was questioning my choice as there were no developments or feedback. Upon meeting with Jeffrey, I was struck by his professional demeanor, compassion and explanation of the process. As well as by his friendly manner. I felt confident that Jeffrey would obtain the best outcome, and that is exactly what he did! Throughout depositions, pre-trial conferences and eventual settlement, Jeffrey was in the driver's seat and I knew that I was in the best hands. Jeff Weiskopf did an excellent job in guiding me through a difficult time in my life. I had never considered filing a lawsuit but I was involved in a terrible accident at work. He was thoughtful, responsive and professional the whole way through. It was particularly challenging filing a lawsuit during Covid and to have depositions via Zoom. I think he handled everything very well. I would highly recommend him and his firm for support.

A brooklyn hospital almost killed me by wrongfully diagnosing my then popped appendix. They then continued to make mistakes throughout the process. I came to Steve Halperin and he took care of me. He made them pay for the suffering they put me through and really almost killing me. Steven also made it happen in relatively good time. 3 years is pretty standard for these kinds of things and he did it in 2. He also catered to all my questions and calls and emails throughout. God forbid i ever go through any kind of medical malpractice again but if i do I’m calling him again.

I can't say enough positive things about Halperin, Halperin & Weiskopf. Due to an unfortunate situation, I had to retain a law firm to represent me in a personal injury case. I worked directly with Jeffrey Weiskopf and was so happy with the representation he provided.
